Possible to have yahoo finance adjust mutual fund reinvestments?

Just wondering if yahoo finance (or any other one like google) can automatically adjust mutual funds for capital gains/dividend reinvestments. It would be a very useful feature for me. Also can someone explain how to do a stock screen for companies who's nav price decreased by X percentage (to make it easy to find name brand companies when they bottom out)

  1. JS, I am not sure I fully understand your questions, and ultimately I suggest you consult an advisor who can provide guidance based on your financial needs and temperaments. However, I believe that you re asking whether a program can differentiate between mutual fund NAV Growth and NAV growth including reinvestment of dividend payments. I am not sure about Yahoo but i believe it already includes dividend reinvestment. I am familiar with Morningstar software and it will provide you with the information you need depending on the service you chose. As far as stock screen and NAV. NAV is a term used to define an investment co's/mutual funds value (assets minus liabilities). NAV is not usually if at all used with stock price. attached is a link that may be helpful. You can nonetheless use many filters that are available to show you stocks that have been large price(or percentage) decliners. Be aware that technical analysis alone may not dictate whether a stock is cheap or near a bottom. Many investors (Warren Buffet being one) believe fundamental analysis is a valuable arrow to hold in your quiver. This should not viewed as investment advice, ultimately correct guidance can most easily be acquired through the use of a investment professional
