Dont you feel that India is now richer than other countries in terms of business and finance?

Compared to some other countries in Europe and Asia, India is now booming and is far more richer because of new ventures and business with the USA and UK? So many silly people think that India is still poor but now with the economy booming and the business from so many countries partnering with India, we can no longer refer to the country as poor can we?! Please give me your answers on this forum with the right information and no insults please! Thanks....

2. If you mean the US sending millions of jobs to India/Pakistan (and other countries) due to outsourcing, then yes, you're right. I suspect, however, that this is only a temporary arrangement. Consumers are growing more and more wary of doing business with companies that outsource their customer service and manufacturing divisions overseas.

4. I think India has a lot to offer the world. Their labor base gives them a huge advantage over many European countries. I just hope they make sure the workers are not exploited by the multinational corporations.
5. It is most definatly richer! There are loads of millionares who live there, many of them own very luxurious property in the western world such as the USA and the UK. There will always be more dominant countries, and there is a feeling that the power is moving away from the West and going Eastwards aswell as the money and industry

7. No. In terms of the average standard of living for the average Indian, India holds roughly the same world's ranking that it has for the past 20 or so years. The economic booms in India and China have not changed the standard of living for 80% + of the population. These countries have populations of over 1 billion people each and the vast majority of their citizens live in abject poverty grinding out a daily miserable existence. It is the rich and very small middle classes that have benefited from their recent booming economies.

A country with an increase in GNP doesn`t mean rich.It should be seen in the people..the masses.You can`t claim that you are rich or economy is booming while most of your countrymen are here in the Philippines looking for jobs. Like some of the politicians here claiming that the Philippines is booming while most of the workers are looking for jobs overseas.

And India is one of the most fast developing counties of the world...... friend more then 38% employs in microsoft r indian 36% docters in usa r indian......... 28% intel employs r indian and the intel chip was designed by an indian India has the 3rd largest team of Doctors n engeniers in the world!!
