where can I find a good exchange rate?

I want to exchange the currency before traveling abroad. Anyone could tell me how to find a optimal exchange rate? Any bank in US might provide a better rate? Thank you so much.

1. Most US banks will change the currency for you. If you already have a bank, they might do it for free or a reduced fee. If you want a better rate, use your credit card overseas. The conversion is generally better when you get your statement. Another way is the use traveler's checks. The foreign bank will convert those for a better rate than cash.
