How does the exchange rate work when one uses a credit card abroad?
I'm watching a movie and the American is shopping in a shop in the UK and I was thinking about this if the character were to use a credit card. I'm sure that most major credit cards are accepted abroad, I was wondering how the exchange rate works when an American credit card is used.

- The credit card company will do the conversion back to American dollars. Most companies use the conversion rate at the date/time of purchase.
- They will charge you of the conversion rate of the day of purchase. To know more about credit card visit http://onlinepaymentoption.blogspot.com and http://creditcardbiz.blogspot.com
