Is destroying currency notes (intentional or otherwise) a legal offence in India?

3. Respect the currency issued .All dis respects amounts to an offence .
4. well currency which u'r using is not not u'r property its the propertyu of Government Of India. so u'r destroying Government property when u'r destroying the currence and u cant even write any thing on it. u may be punished for that ... this rule is applicable in all the country
