if youre a millionaire in the USA, are you rich in india?

If you are considered a millionare in america, are you more rich and well of (high status) in INDIA and PAKISTAN? i figured out the currency exchange rate but i still dont know if that is considered a rich/high status in india and pakistan thanks for the great answers =] more are appreciated

1. As far as I am aware, most Indians live on less than $1 a day, so $1,000,000 would equate to 2739 year's worth of wages. So, yes!

The cost of living (in raw dollars) in India or Pakistan is so much lower than in almost any other place in the world (except for parts of South America) that almost ANYONE from Europe or North America can live a "millionaire" lifestyle in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. The average annual income in India is $737, the average annual income in Pakistan is $470, in Bangladesh it's about $380, and in the UK and US respectively, it's $28,000 and $42,000. You hardly need to be a millionaire in Europe or America to be immensely "rich" in the Indian subcontinent!
3. yes , $1 million = around Rs 40 million !! , so ofcourse , he is going to be rich in india , were you trying to ask the other way , if a man have Rs 1 million , would he be rich on usa , than he is not , because its just $ 25000 and this much I can earn within a month.
4. hell yes. most americans would be filthy rich if they moved to india, but why would any american move to that stinky hellhole?
