- Indonesia.
- vietnam
- Indonesia....... just got back from Bandung...
- try the Philippines...they've nice clear blue waters, white sand and plenty of shopping malls with tons of stuff on sale. the nice people there will also make your stay unforgettable.
- Brazil, Argentina, Chile. Heck! Probably all south american countries. You could go check the pyramid over there (in Peru).
- If you don't intend to travel far, try Philippines, China, Hong Kong, or even South Korea.
- Vienam , Cambodia , Andaman Island , Nepal , Sri Lanka , , Mauritius are the nearby ones , if excluding flight cost , then Nigeria , Uganda , , the whole lot in Africa. Don't forget , even one month of tour cannot be completed in a country like India and China.
- China, that's a beautiful country. Others like vietnam, indonesia, myanmar...
- lower? norway, japan, kenya, nigeria, cambodia or vietnam :P
- Vietnam, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Laos, Cambodia, Sri Lanka...
- Where is Groovy ? She is the expert in this field ! Actually, lower currency exchange rate doesn't mean cheaper ! Its all depend on your budget and the type of holiday you are looking for ! Some like to put-up in a star hotel/resort some don't, others wanted to have their meals at the restaurant not roadside store ! You need to have the bargain skill too in order to 'save' some money ! Some so call poor country dealing with tourist in USD, so do you think it would be cheap ? Why not try our own country ? There are soooo many beautiful beaches around ! Much more natural rain forest like National Park, and some of the wonderful highland retreat ! Explore Malaysia and you would be surprise by those attraction and places of interest ! Anyway if you insist of going oversea, then try Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia or Philipines ! Have a nice holidays !
- Exchange rate has nothing to do with living cost. Japanese Yen is lower than Ringgit for example but the living cost there is higher. You'll see most of the prices in 100s and 1000s of Yens. Same goes for South Korean Won. Cheap holiday in the region, other than Thailand or India, would be Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia or China (but not the coastal region, go inlands). Laos is expensive. Egypt is also quite cheap but getting there is expensive. Sub-Saharan Africa, although poor, is not cheap. Among Asean countries I'd choose Cambodia. They are much friendlier than Indonesians, and it's cheaper. You can take Air Asia flight to Phnom Pehn or Siem Reab.
