can I transfer my account from state bank of india-bhavnagar to central bank of india-ahmedabad?

1. Today, there is actually no need for going/running from one bank to another. Wherever you keep your accounts, it is possible to remit moneys from one account to another (within the same bank) and from one account in one bank to another account in a second or third bank. You can transfer moneys from SBI Bhavnagar to CBI Ahmedabad through NEFT or RTGS systems of transfer of funds. However, you will not be able to transfer your Account itself from SBI to CBI.
