Is personal finance a required highschool class?

i have 20 credits of math left and my teacher gave me a choice between personal finance and geometry. he said that I should do personal finance before geometry but I kind of wanted to do geometry.. idk what do you think?

1. It depends on whether or not you are going to a 4 year college. Most of them require that you have taken geometry to get in.
2. The other answer is correct, colleges want at least geometry, if not algebra 2. Personal finance is more useful though!
3. personal finance is very good for every young adult to have. your teacher fells you need that before geometry, so take it before geometry. you still have time to take the geometry.
