  1. It is simple just meet the manager of the state bank or other bank and they will ask the xerox copy of documents and they visit the home and shift the loan. I think try to go for Hdfc it is easy and you can shift within one weak.
  2. Nowadays nationalised banks do not entertain take over of home loans from other banks, unless they are very much satisfied that this take over would be beneficial to them; 2) they would demand the reason for shifting over; 3) whether any upgradation on the home loan is required?; Normally after much hesitation/or under pressure from higherups only they accept for changeover. In other words, you may continue with the existing banker to get your further needs agumented/serviced. You can establish a good relationship with your banker and nowadays "anywhere banking"facility comes handy to do all your banking needs with the same branch.
  3. its very hard in indian local bank to change that bcoz their work is very slow and more of anything lots of silly qus they ask to u that y u wanna change that . This bank gives u more benefits which no other bank can give u an all. i suffer these problems befor so if u realy wanna change ur bank that go to some other bank which is not indian. they do helf work of urs by them self. they work at ur door step.
