China urges US to hand over $10 BILLION to it to help with climate change - are they laughing at you now?

Just saw this article in the Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/10/AR2010031000505.html and it seems to me that someone has a great sense of humour When reading the excerpts below, don't forget that China is still - apparently - a "developing nation" (a developing nation with a massive amount of dollars in the bank). 1. Yes - that would be the PRC laughing. The PRC was really "hot" (pun intended) for the idea of human-caused global warming as long as they could play the victim country. Once it was pointed out China (and India) are horrific polluters they backed away from the idea in most forums. That doesn't mean they won't take any "carbon tax" or "carbon offset" money the Global Left stupidly wants to send to them.
2. I believe that the only Americans responsible for paying their share of the Ten Billion dollars are those who voted for that Obama character. Thankfully, that leaves me out. "How's that Hopey-Changey Thing Working Out for Ya?"

Industries moved from America and europe so they can make profit and do not pay tax at all, cheep labour is what they want that is the reason they moved to China and in India, and now they are polluting the atmosphere so cause of this China want $10 billion to take care of the pollution that industries are causing on China and India.
4. You are correct, all of the Nations that you have listed are all lender Nations and have more in exports then in imports. That is why so many of us don't want to help these Nations. Also, from what I have heard, at least on American solar company is doing it's R&D in China.

6. China is owed over a Trillion dollars by America already for imports American consumers want, but cannot afford. 10 Billion on top of this would be small change, but undeserved small change. China has the wherewithal to pay its own way - America, sadly, has not.
