  1. Call your social services dept. That is the dept that handles the cash aid and all. They will give you a number to call for asst. That is where he will find out if he's entitle to receive any money due the indian tribe or you could go on the internet and look up cash aid for Indian tribes.
  2. First let's work on your lingo: There is no such thing as "Indian money" for people who have an "indian card." It sounds like your friend/his son are enrolled in the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. Their cards are "enrollment cards." CNO does give funds to its enrolled citizens who are in college. You'd/They'd have to contact CNO directly to find out how to apply for these funds. According to CNO's website they award funds to "selected" CNO citizens so if your friend's son is a top student he might qualify for funding. If he does the funds are called "tribal scholarship" http://www.cherokee.org/Services/179/Page/Default.aspx So, back to your original question (rephrased): How do you get a *tribal scholarship* for your kid after they already have their *enrollment card*? Simple, ask the tribe of enrollment. ;o)
