I am holding 1 share of Central Bank of India taken in the year 1964; what is today's value for it?
How and whom should i approach for getting the total worth of that share certificate. The share certificate is in paper form and not in electronic form.

- At Bombay Stock Exchange the price was Rs.99.50 to 104.90 on 24th July 09 If the share certificate is in paper form (physical form) you need to convert it in demat form i.e. in electronic form. Because trading is done in electronic form only and this price is for that. For only one share no body will take interest in buying because it is not that worth for buyer as the cost of converting it in Electronic form is about Rs.55. Now the choice is yours. Open a demat account with State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Angle Broking or India Bulls sent it for demat.
- 103.90 As on close on Friday 24th july If you are in share market or if there are many more in shares in paper form it may be worth going after that for demating and demat a/c. If not try to forget that one share.
