Question to native Hindi people settled in South India: Have you made efforts to learn SouthIndian language?

If you are in Karanataka, can you speak kannada. Have you made efforts to learn it? If you are in tamilnadu, can you speak Tamil. Have you made efforts to learn it? If you are in Andhra, can you speak Telugu Have you made efforts to learn it? If you are in Kerala, can you speak Kerala Have you made efforts to learn it?

1. I'm not south Indian. I'm north Indian but tell me this you south indians, why would you rather learn english than hindi? do english people try to learn your languages? NO. it is a matter of uniting the country and hindi is better than english because it is not a foreign language.
