why don't world bank declare India a failed country and stop lending money.?
Our state and central govt get money from world bank and our politicians save that money in swiss bank accounts. We pay that principal and interest by hard work, with the no employment opportunities. Indians are hard working people in most difficult environment. Think about people working for less than $2 per day, and young people heavily stressed out due to un-employment, there are millions of them in india. So, why dont world bank declare india failed country and save us from the debt. Maxpower......this issue is not trivial as you think. Not all countries get money from wold bank. Even if they get, they have account of how the money is used. Do we have that account in india ??. Indians should shun this attitude of indifference, and stop our govt from taking money form world bank and make us pay for it.

- The whole concept of a world banque means that all nations are borrowing money. And, in your logic, all nations therefore should be declared "failed country". The debt is not from "us". So, quit worrying!
- what you want to say ? failed countries should be no more helped and dumped in a junkyard huh ? helping is done to ensure a better life style for everyone out there living .. !!!!! please answer my questions too
- Dear Buddy, World Bank will not give money just like that and we must be well within the rules. I do not say that India is not corrupt. However, it is much better and definitely and absolutely no doubt that we need to streamline the things before worst could happen. Regards May God Bless Senthil EG Iyappan
- Apart from midspace, the peripherals of your brain are empty. India is not a failed state. In a failed State, there is anarchy.
- Let us suppose for a moment that the World Bank accepts your suggestion and declares India as a failed state and stops all further lending (not that it will do so). What is the action expected to achieve? Would it improve the lot of the common man in any way?Do you think that the politicians rely only on the World Bank lendings to fill their pockets and that they have no other sources? While I appreciate and understand your frustrations with the system and the establishment, your question is ununderstandable as is the effect of your suggestion.
