Where can I get the best exchange rate for euros to pounds?

I am going to London next week and would like to know where can I get the best exchange rate for euros to pounds in Lyon, France? I'm with Le Credit Lyonnaise, but don't really like their fees and am not sure how much they will charge for foreign atm withdrawals. Would it be better to change the money in London or in France?

1. Find a no commission exchange -- they are everywhere if you keep your eyes open.
2. It;s better to change it in London. If you want to change in France, the bank needs to order the Pounds from the Central Bank in Paris, and that will cost you in addition. In London go to an exchange office or a bank.
