Can India's Finance Minister design "a Populist budget" as also as "an inclusive budget?
A good reformer/ economist never become a good politician in India. But I admit that P.C first open up Insurance or even Telecom sector. Basically we (all of us) consider the "Growth Rate"~but not" Actual Growth". But now it's more challenging to entact our "growth story" in the period of "global (US) slowdown "-by keeping "inflation as moderate -minimal" as possible

- Dont quite understand those term. What I would look forward to is a good and progressive budget keeping the future of the nation in mind which may not necessarily be a popular one. I suppose P C is a forward looking man. So lets wait and watch and hope for the best.
- Unexpected Budget. All presumptions would be wrong.
- Yes it is possible. Hope he will adopt the strategy of ' ROB PETER AND PAY PAUL'. We expect him to give all concessions to middle clas, poor, agriculturists, exporters who suffer due to strong Rupee, senior citizens etc. At the same time he needs to pay more attention to development of infrastructure, education, defence. In short any thing is possible but the FM must have commitment and support more particularly the leftists.
- Every budget will always have 2 sides - it would be popular with some whereas some will look upon it with scorn.
