What was the exchange rate of the Greek drachma against the US dollar on September 1999 ?

1. I hope you don't mind my responding to your question without being able to answer your specific question. Most of the financial sites with which I am familiar no longer have historical data on the drachma. Wikipedia says the exchange rate in 2001 when the euro replaced the drachma was 340.750 drachma to the euro. One of the websites I visited (second one below) had an email address of a guy who is familiar with Greek numismatics. You might try going to his site and emailing him to see if he has a reference you can use to answer your question. Best of success.
