1. banks delaing in foreign exchange or any authoised money exchange dealer, just like to exchange your usd in any other country. and there are lots of money exchange establishments throughout India
2. There are hundreds of places in all major towns, including private foreign exchange dealers and almost all the banks. You will see display sign boards all over for these.
3. You can exchange in any RBI authorised bank or person for money excehange, if you are living in cities you can see more such counters across.
4. You can encash the same with the Banks as well as foreign exchange agencies. In the airports there are foreign exchange counters, where you can easily encash the foreign currency.
