Any shopping areas I MUST check out in Delhi or Mumbai?

i'm going to india in a week for the first time. it's a dream come true, but i really want to scout out some cheap bargains like saris/bangles/bindis/jewelry that i can give away without wincing. are there any particular areas where i can get such things? i'm also interested in old sari/embroidery/fabric and trims (think boho bags and cushion covers - i wanna make em, not buy em!)...anyone know any places in Delhi and Mumbai they think i should definitely check out? Lemme know! PLEASE and THANK YOU! :)
