Is there anyway I could watch a VHS cassette made in India in 1983 on my VCR here in US?

I have a VHS cassette made in 1983 in India. I was trying to watch it on my regular SONY VCR here in the US. It was not showing clear image or sound. I can not see any clear image coming on my TV screen, but I can hear sound little faster than it should be. I think this might be due to incompatibility (NTSC and PAL).

Public Comments

1. Find a local Indian Electronics store and ask them to convert the tape to NTSC.
2. Or find a PAL VCR and a PAL TV!!!!
