1. I am indian so yeah we are indian and not asian. I relate to people when I say I am indian and if I said asian they would get confused.
2. Nope - people from Turkey are Turkish, People from Viet Nam are Vietnamese, people from Syria are Syrian. You question is like saying people from Mexican are North Americans instead of being Mexican or that Native Americans are North American. People refer to them selves as being from their country of origin, not from the continent they come from.
3. NO WAY! asian women are beautiful. Have you ever seen a "woman" from bahrain? no way,dude.
4. I don't think Pakistan and Afghanistan looks anything like the Asians. Also, Indians were never called Asians back then.

Cyprus is between 3 continents..Europe-Asia-Africa But culturally Cyprus belongs to Europe (also member of the EU)......never been related with Africa and Asia...(although Turkey illegally occupies 37% of the island)--but thats temporary...Cyprus has Greek culture, customs and religion for more than 9 000 years... I agree with the rest of the countries.......
6. what do you mean "Tehran Iraq". There is no relation between these two. Asia is a continent so every country and people live their are Asian. I doesnt matter even if they are Indian or Chinese or others.

8. Yes people from above list of countries are Asian geographically. But when a person is called "Asian" in US, it means they are oriental looking. Which are people from China, Japan, Korea's and other southeast Asian countries. The term , "Asian" is a political correct replacement word for racist word, "Ch***y". I hope that answers the above questions. And has anybody ever gave thought why people from US are called Americans worldwide, why not people from Canada, Mexico, Brazil or Chile and many more....
